This film project is based on the true story of Maciek and Katja. Some years ago, Maciek, my boyfriend's best friend was mad in love with my best friend Katja. Sadly, it was an unfulfilled love story. The two of them couldn't have been more different. They would have matched, though. What a pity.

It was at that very time that the film was shot, in a borrowed Jaguar with leather seats, in a home-made 4 by 5 metres box studio at Plaza Media, Munich, where I did my apprenticeship as a video and audio technician at the time.

The story is the classical story of a boy, Maciek, who arranges a mixtape for his beloved, Katja.

The complete plot takes place inside a Taxi whose driver is Katja.
Maciek, who is secretely in love with Katja, finally takes heart and gets into her taxi (without a destination, but determined to win her heart). He instructs her to just cruise around and puts on his headphones. They don't talk any more during the whole ride. While Katja drives aimlessly through the city, Maciek listens a last time to the tape he made for Katja. For him, it is one last time reassuring himself, fantasising about Katja. For her, the strange passager that doesn't talk, watches her cryptically and moves along with the music, seems strange. She is too tough though to be afraid.

The two different perspectives are visualised respectively. Katja's view is unemotional, realistic, while Maciek's world is fantastic, unreal. Indeed, only the interior of the taxi is real. Everything else is computer animated. This reinforces the unreal and fantastic.

Finally, the tape ends. Maciek returns to reality.
Hastily, he instructs Katja to stop in the middle of nowhere, pays the fee and gets off the car. He hesitates, then hands the tape to Kaja. Then he turns around and disappears. On the tape is written:

„Katja (I love you)“

Katja puts the tape into the car's tape deck, listens to the first minutes, laughts, and throws the tape out of the window.
